Slow quiet music including classical music can have beneficial effects on physiological functions, slowing pulse, heart rate and lowering blood pressure to reduce levels of stress hormones.
So in the coming days, weeks and months ahead, if you are starting to feel anxious, stressed or overwhelmed, switch on some music, choose a great playlist, one that means something to you and just chill out for a moment…. take some time for yourself and improve your mental wellbeing.
